We are going to be running The Color Run in Manchester in memory of our nephews, Nathaniel (Nate) and Gabriel. Nate was born too soon and despite the Doctors' expectations, he hung on for 51 minutes after being born at 20 weeks. Gabriel unfortunately passed away before he was delivered.

Sands do absolutely amazing work to help parents through their grieving process. They have volunteers who knit clothes for premature babies, provide memory boxes, make quilts and Moses baskets. Without the hard work of these people, many parents would find the whole process much harder to come to terms with.

There isn't a day that goes by where we don't think about Nate, Gabriel and our brother and sister-in-law. They have been such a huge inspiration and have shown them how strong they are, and we can see how much they love them as well as they rest of our family. Although we didn't get the chance to meet Nate and Gabriel, we know that they are up in heaven with the rest of our family members who will be keeping them company and looking down on us all. We know that Nate will also be taking care of his little brother up there and keeping him out of trouble!

We wanted to do The Color Run in memory of Nate and Gabriel so that they can have a good laugh at their silly Aunties and Uncle getting paint thrown all over them, and also whilst it will be in their memory, we believe that it will be an amazing experience and will help to continue to keep their memory alive.

R.I.P Nathaniel and Gabriel, you're always in our thoughts x
