Story
When I was 12 years old, my grandma caught a very rare strain of Meningitis and died suddenly within a day from this. I wasn’t able to say goodbye to her but will always remember her as a fantastic and very loving grandma.
I am running the 2023 London Marathon because I want to help Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia.
The team at MRF were absolutely paramount to helping my family gain a better understanding of this illness and answer the many questions we all had. Without them, my family would’ve struggled immensely to overcome the sudden loss we went through. Therefore, I would I like to thank them for all their help and support and raise awareness for this cause that’s so close to my heart.
Any donations are hugely appreciated and will spur me on to complete this daunting task of running the marathon!
Lots of love,
