Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Bridie's girls are doing St Luke's Hospice midnight walk on the 26th June in memory of our beautiful and brave Bridie Galligan who sadly passed away on the 30th December 2014 after fighting a long battle with cancer.
For the later stages of Bridie's illness she was admitted to St Luke's Hospice on the Kenton Road where she received around the clock care. The heartfelt dedication of the staff gave Bridie a comfortable last few months and the support they offered Bridie's family was second to none.
There are thousands of people like Bridie whose illnesses are no longer curable and it's reassuring to know St. Luke's Hospice will support those suffering to provide them with the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness aswell as helping to comfort the family when going through such a difficult time.
As you may be aware St Luke's is a charity run hospice and rely on the generosity of the community for over 75% of their funding.
Since Bridie's passing we have already raised over £1,000 for St Luke's Hospice and we thank each and everyone one of you who have donated so far.
