In October 2014, my grandma was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. This came as a shock to everyone that knew her, as she was a fit, healthy and active person. It just goes to show, you never know what is around the corner.  She suffered for the next few months, going through endless chemotherapy treatments. It was tough for everyone... we were oblivious to what the future held.
Remarkably, we got the news that she had won her battle with cancer and is now on the road to recovery. However, I know that others aren't so fortunate. This is why I wanted to complete this skydive to raise money and awareness for so many other people that are in my grandma's position.
