On Sunday 23rd April 2023 I will be running the London Marathon for The Tommy Salisbury Fund at Fight for Sight. Tommy Salisbury is a really good friend of mine, who was diagnosed at the age four with Choroideremia, a rare eye disease. Choroideremia is an inherited eye condition that mainly affects males, causing progressive loss of vision. Tommy's family set up this fund after learning the life-changing news that Tommy may one day lose his sight. Since setting up this family fund, Tommy's family and friends have raised over £640,000. Tommy's family hoped that money raised raised could lead to a treatment in the future.
