I have signed myself up for the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. The Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist care units and events so that they can interact with children their own age, that are undergoing the same treatment, to give them a degree of normality during an otherwise scary time.

I have to walk a total of 24 miles, and climb three peaks topping out at around 700 metres each - all in under 12 hours!
