On 30th March 2018 I lost my mum after an almost 4 year battle with lung cancer that had spread to the brain. After thinking she wouldn't even last 6 months, she battled on for almost 4 years, undergoing the most gruelling treatment. Amongst her many achievements, one of them was climbing Kilimanjaro.
