Story
I am raising money for the sustainable development charity Raleigh International.
I have volunteered with the charity organisation, Raleigh International, to work on two community projects in Costa Rica from February to April.
To help improve access to education for local communities, I will be building a school in central Costa Rica.
With over 500,000 species, Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse and unique environments on the planet. I will be working with local communities on an environmental project to preserve Costa Rica’s natural biodiversity.
I will also be completing a 280km trek from one side of Costa Rica to the other.
To help raise the money for the charity, I am planning to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest on St Catherine's Hill in Winchester.
I will climb up St Catherine's Hill 50 times – an ascent of 12,615 ft (the equivalent of climbing Everest from Base Camp).
I am aiming to complete this in a day on the 17th January.
Please help me achieve my Mount Everest climb!
Any donations will be massively appreciated and I can't wait to keep you updated on my journey.
