Our beautiful daughter Olivia sadly passed away at Kings College Hospital Thomas Cook Childrens Care Unit on Tuesday 13th September 2022. 

Olivia was born with intestinal failure and spent much of her life in hospital. She underwent an Intestinal Transplant in April 2019 to try and extend and improve her quality of life. It was an extremely challenging time for her post transplant but she reached a place of stability after a while. 

Olivia then developed a hernia, so went in for elective surgery to repair her herniated stoma and reconnect her colon, in the hope she would be stoma-free for the first time in her life. 

Unfortunately, she experienced complication after complication which she was unable to recover from.

She passed away peacefully with myself and her dad holding her beautiful hands.

We are setting up this page to raise funds for the staff who worked tirelessly and selflessly to help her until the end. 

If you would like to make a donation instead of buying flowers for her, we will ensure the funds are allocated equally between Rays of Sunshine and Thomas Cook Childrens Critical Care Centre at Kings College Hospital and they will be gratefully received.
