Some communities have difficulty accessing gymnastics; people living with dementia, families in hardship or crisis and people with disabilities.
We know that gymnastics can help to transform their lives, so our projects help these communities to access gymnastics.
Creating adapted gymnastics classes in care homes, community centres and special schools to:
• Get older people more active – improving memory and cognition for people living with dementia
• Show children with disabilities that they can take part in gymnastics, and improve mobility and coordination
Providing grants to:
• Enable people living in hardship to gain new skills for a healthier future
• Enable people going through personal crisis to gain confidence and fulfil potential
Widening access to gymnastics means all these communities are benefitting where they couldn't before.
Reaching potential, increasing confidence and including everyone.
