After cheering on all the brave runners in the London 2018 Marathon, and feeling immense pride for all these random people who were giving it their absolute all for such great causes, I got caught up in this crazy notion that I wanted to be one of those people next year… and well… here we are!!

It’s safe to say my enthusiasm has wavered slightly since then, and now I’m faced with the daunting task of running in the cold, wet and windy, every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday up until MAY(!).

I’ve never ran further than 5k before, so this is going to be an immense challenge, but I am determined to try really hard and do this to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. 

It’s a charity I hope to never have to rely upon, but it’s such a worthy cause and it’s a lifeline to millions of families who haven’t been so lucky.
