Story

Hey, thanks for taking the time to visit my page. When Roderick first asked me if I wanted to run in the Paris marathon I thought he was kidding (especially as he asked me this as an alternative to a 10K reindeer run) but after some thought I figured it would be a really good thing to do, testing myself to the limit. After all how many people run a marathon in their lives and how many before they're twenty?

We're running for Get Kids Going a charity that raises money to help children and young people in wheelchairs to get involved in sports by giving them special sports wheelchairs. I know sometimes we all complain about having to do exercise (all those years of standing around on the lacrosse field talking) but not having the opportunity to do sport ever would be horrible which is why I think this is a very worthwhile cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
