I’m doing it. I’m running the London Marathon in April 2023 for Unique (Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group), a charity close to my family.

My nephew Isaac has Trisomy 9P syndrome and the support Unique have provided for my family has been invaluable.

Isaac is our ray of sunshine, determined, resilient and inspirational. Keep being you Champ, this is for you. We love you.

Unique provides much needed help and information to those caring for a family member with a rare chromosome disorder.  These lifelong disorders affect 1 in 200 live-born babies and those affected are often sick and severely disabled, unable to walk or talk. I hope by running the London marathon, I am able to raise awareness about rare chromosome disorders, raise some money for this great charity so they can continue their hard work and complete the run in under four hours.
