Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

To raise funds for Myeloma UK I'm going to enjoy the rush of freefalling from 10,000ft. Myeloma, also known as "Multiple Myeloma", is a type of cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow. To find out more about the cancer, visit their website (right).

It's a cause close to mine & my wife's hearts as her sister was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2004. She is doing exceptionally well since her diagnosis and initial treatment but it is a cancer which needs a huge amount of support to fund vital research into the genetics and causes of Myeloma as well as developing personalised treatment strategies.

The funds I raise will help provide information & support to Myeloma patients & their families and be directed towards vital research into better treatments and care.

For those of you who don't know how this works, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for Myeloma UK.

So please dig deep and donate now, thank you!
