Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 100% of your donation will go direct to the Charity and help Premature Babies! (Minus the fee RLI have to pay to JustGiving)
On 9th May 2016 my daughter Sophie was born by emergency C section. She was given around 50% chance of survival being born at just 26 weeks. Despite set backs and many concerns she now continues to thrive and grow, enjoying life to the full as any normal toddler.
Sophie is a strong girl with fighting spirit, however we also realise we owe so much to the staff at Lancaster Hospital. We are so lucky, as it is down to the staff that our baby girl is here now. They did an amazing job. To help them continue this fantastic life saving work I am hoping to raise money towards new equipment in the neonatal ward.
I will be cycling the 138 miles from Whitehaven to Tynemouth over three days, starting on 15 June. You can follow me (and my training efforts) on the strava app. So please please click "donate" and help future babies (and parents) who find themselves in the same situation as we so unexpectedly did... Thankyou!
