3 years ago my wife was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. Neither of us had any idea that such a condition existed!

It is a condition that effects the nervous system and each individual can be affected in a different way, and to a different extent.

There have been some real lows in the past 3 years, we didn't realise that help was available through the TM Society until recently. Being such a little known condition, the TM Society and the condition in general require more exposure to enable funds to be raised to provide support to people with the condition and to fund research .

The TM Society provide vital support to many people who suffer from this sometimes debilitating illness. They are a small charity and don't benefit from being in the spotlight as some of the major charities do.

I am really hoping to be able to raise some money for them and also to spread some awareness about the condition by running the London marathon on 2018.
