Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running a minimum of 10 kilometres each day for 196 days- that will be a total of 1960km or 1218 miles by 24th April 2021. I have decided on this timeframe as it will finish the day my son completes his Paratrooper training in the army. This charity is close to my family as we have unfortunately lost friends and family to this cruel disease, however we have also seen many thankfully get the all clear and are still with us.
This is all to create awareness whilst also raising donations to support/fund research for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is a common disease within the UK with 367,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year, thatis around 1,000 every day. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer, your donations will contribute to funding for research to hopefully find a cure one day but in the meantime your donations and support will mean a lot.
