Story

Hello again, Oliver here,

it's that time of year once more when I put my body and soul through pain and grief on behalf of other people's bemusement and amusement. I've just ran the Birmingham Half Marathon, 13.1 miles of sheer joy in just under 2 hours. The experience was pretty amazing, especially running through the underpass onto Broad Street... the longest 800m of my life I think.

And this friday I will running the Beacon Hill Skeleton trail run in the dark wooooooohh just to put my hips through more suffering.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now if you will, your generosity genuinely makes the training in the drizzle and the crumbling bones worthwhile. Cheers

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
