Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time to visit this fundraising page in aid of Save the Children - a charity that was close to my sister's heart.

At the time of my sister's tragic death on the 15th of February she had been working at a Save the Children charity shop on the Fulham Road, and had been in training for the Hackney Half Marathon on May 10. This was an event she was greatly looking forward to and was keen to raise as much money for Save the Children as she possibly could.

This is something that I, along with my cousin Theo, would like to honour. We will be running the Hackney Half Marathon on her behalf, and will be joined by a number of our friends for the race. It is hoped that in completing the Half Marathon we will be able to ensure that Mimi has a legacy that lives on beyond the grave by raising some money for a very worthy cause. 

Save the Children help millions of children across the world everyday by providing those in need with a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. They are also involved in helping respond to the crisis in NEPAL that is the worst disaster to hit the country for many decades.
