We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I have decided to participate in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society as my long suffering grandma passed away last Christmas, having gradually deteriorated over 6 years.

Although I am doing this in her memory, it is also for everyone out there who are the unsung heroes.  Carers such as my grandad, who, despite being in his late 70's himself had to bare most of the responsibility for her day to day well-being. A man who's wife had already gone, long before her death.

This is just one example of the estimated 815,827 who have dementia in the UK. They and their family's need all the help they can get.

Any donation that you can make will help to make this awful and emotionally crippling disease more bearable for the sufferers and for the carers who have to watch the person they love fade away in front of them
