Story
I'm really excited to say that I will be running the Brighton Marathon on the 2nd April. As people know I was entered to run the Brighton Half Marathon in November which was cancelled by Morunning, so when my mum asked if I would run the full marathon for LimbPower I jumped at the chance.
From only signing up and beginning training just 7 weeks out from race day, this will be one of the hardest physical and mental challenge I've put myself through.
Amputees such as my mum and individuals with limb impairments, have to use determination, grit and courage everyday for day to day activities and I hope these values can inspire me through my own challenge on the 2nd April.
I hope that we are able to raise some money to a great cause, which can allow individuals to gain movement again who have been sufferings with this disability.
I'm looking forward to getting as many people down to watch on the April 2nd.
Thank you and see you race day.
