‘For Mike’ – Hull to London Sponsored Cycle Challenge

 

On the 5th & 6th of October I will cycle from Hull to London to raise money for the 'For Mike' charity efforts. The charity effort raises money for Dove House and MacMillan Nurses that do tremendous work to help those suffering from cancer.

 

The 'For Mike' charity effort was set up in memory of Mike Dunn. Mike Dunn was a fire-fighter, loving husband & fitness instructor who raised thousands of pounds for charity after being diagnosed with cancer before the illness tragically ended his life this year at the age of 38.

 

Never shy of a challenge himself, Mike was an inspiration to all that knew him, and especially those with whom he worked with at the Spire Health Club in Hull. It is with his spirit that Squadra Cycling Team have organised a cycling challenge from Hull to London.

 

Cycling 200 miles in two days provides me with a physically demanding challenge that I intend to work towards in the upcoming weeks to ensure I am capable of completing it to raise money for a much needed cause.
