As most of you are aware, last year our father was diagnosed with secondary bowel cancer. Since then, we have decided to try and raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK. Last year, we completed the 3 peaks challenge and our main fund-raising event this year will be running a Marathon in early October. However, when George and I found about the Big Bathe for Bowel Cancer we knew we had to get involved. The event has nearly raised £20,000 so any donations towards this total would mean the world to us. We're not the greatest swimmers so 1.5km in the ocean will be a real challenge but hopefully one we can achieve.
