Hi there one and all the trek is over!! Hurrah the walking is done, boo, not in China anymore and not seeing the bears again!! 

Edited highlights; 5 1/2 days trekking, I guess around 100 kms, very very physical with extrememly steep inclines to heights as much as 3600m! We all made it with some stressing, including myself and we got to spend a day at the wonderful sanctuary at Chengdu with the most amazing women in the world; Jill Robinson, her magnificent staff and the gorgeous Moon Bears!! Got knackered but it was WORTH it!

So, thank you thank you thank you for all your contributions. I guess this page will be open for a while, so more is always appreciated by me and the Bears! xxx

Hi there folks! Yes I am trekking again for my fav Moon Bears and all at Animals Asia and the b!@@£y fantastic work that they do for animal welfare in Asia!!!

I am taking part in Trek China from Rock City to Lugu Lake in October and I am putting up this page just for some of you who have asked. I did a trek 2 years ago and because of this will be funding the trek and basic cost/donation equation myself. However this is here for those who wish to add funds for the Moon Bears!!! Thank YOU!!!

I have just done the "Biker do" yesterday, 30+ motorcycles in the drive, good food, good company and nearly £300 raised for the Moon Bears!! Thank You Thank You to all the bikers that attended!! 

I just googled mapped the trek, OMG it's really in the back of beyond on the border of Schechuan and Yunnan provinces, high up and not far from Myanmar border. How exciting! I will be facestalking from there if I get a signal...... 8 weeks or so to go..... again OMG!

I will keep you informed on money raising efforts and my training, hehe, especially as I think I need to lose a few pounds/kilos before I start!!
