We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

Life can change in an instant, and it can happen to anyone.

In summer 2019 I will be swimming the English Channel as part of a relay team, a huge physical challenge, but one I'm lucky enough to be able to consider doing.

There are many people in the UK for whom everyday tasks can be Herculean because they are living with spinal injury.  People whose lives were changed in an instant; for whom opportunities suddenly narrowed.

There is no cure.

Aspire is the UK's leading registered spinal injury charity, helping the 40,000 people with such injuries to adapt to their new reality through equipment, housing, technology or even just simple advice.

So please, look down the back of the sofa, under the car seats and pledge what you can.

I have been advised to put on weight to cope with the cold: be kind !
