Story
I was diagnosed with an aggressive Brain Tumour in 2012 and have regular chemotherapy to try and prevent its growth. I consider myself to be extremely lucky and becoming an ambassador for the Lewis Moody Foundation has really helped me keep a purpose, do what I can to support others and remain positive.
Lewis and Annie will be leading the way on an ambitious virtual Stadium to Stadium Challenge and I am joining them! I have supported Leicester Tigers for many years and so I'll be walking 100miles over the next few weeks which is the distance between Tigers ground down to Twickenham.
It would be fantastic if you could support me with a donation as I complete this challenge. These are different times for us all at the moment and the Foundation needs our support more than ever as lots of events have been cancelled, but unfortunately people are still being diagnosed with life changing brain tumours.
Thank You so much,
Oliver Highway (Look Forward, Be Positive and Keep Positive)
Below are more details of how and why the Foundation raises funds to help Tackle Brain Tumours. Brain Tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 and those who survive this devastating disease are often left with life-limiting side effects. The Foundation funds support to improve lives, through a series of family and young adult days, funds research to change lives, identifying new treatment and diganostic options, and funds awareness to save lives, through our award winning Headsmart Campaign. Every penny you give today will go towards funding these vital projects, helping to build a world in which brain tumours have been tackled for good. Thank you for your support.
