Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In October I will be cycling from London to Paris to raise money for the George Oliver Foundation (http://www.georgesfoundation.org/page4.php) with friends from work. I barely made it to Cambridge this weekend so, trust me, Paris is going to be a major challenge.
Please support us!
Some of us know little more about cycling than where to find the nearest boris bike, others not even that. As for repairing a puncture...let's not even go there. We will cover over 200 miles in two and a half days, up hill, down dale, getting blisters and cramps as we go - please make it all worthwhile by digging deep to support the cause. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
The George Oliver Foundation raises funds to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in any way it can. Each year the Foundation selects a range of initiatives to support and where possible it looks for projects that would otherwise not have funding to go ahead. 100% of all funds raised by the George Oliver Foundation go to the specific projects that it is supporting, working with other organisations to make a difference to the lives of children.
One of the charities that the Foundation is supporting this year is the Soundmix music project in Croydon. Soundmix are providing structured music and arts activities for young refugees and asylum seekers. These children have often arrived in the UK alone and escaped traumatic experiences in their country of origin. Working with the Refugee Council, Soundmix offers these young people structured support and education in a secure and positive environment.
Thank you for your support!
