We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

I have witnessed first hand what effect this illness has to not only the victims of the stroke, but also to their family and friends.

My grandad suffered a severe stroke and is lucky to still be alive. He has now made a remarkable recovery but unfortunately can no longer speak, which has naturally had a huge impact on his life.

My nan also suffered from various strokes of different  severities over a number of years. Although she did not suffer any physical damage it certainly had an effect on her. Sadly my nan passed away in 2013.

This is a life altering illness and the stroke association do a wonderful job of supporting victims and families. Please donate what you can, even a small donation will make a difference.
