As some may already know I am taking part in Ironman Wales on Sunday 15th September.  

The event begins with a 2.4 mile swim followed by a hilly 112 mile bike round before culminating in a 26.2 mile run.

It's safe to say I don't quite know what I have got myself in for...but I am raising money for an incredibly good cause.

The Matt Hampson foundation provide incredible support to young individuals who have unfortunately suffered life changing injuries while taking part in some form of physical activity.  Matt's story itself is incredibly inspiring - you can find more information at matthampsonfoundation.org.
