Oli's Skydive
Oli Owen is raising money for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity
Skydive · 27 May 2021
On December 2nd I was found unconscious in my room. I had had a cerebral haemorrhage (bleeding in the brain) caused by a ruptured AVM (malformed arteries in my brain).
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham performed a craniotomy to remove the burst arteries and the blood clot that had formed, and looked after me following the operation.
I owe them so much and that's why I am facing my fear of heights and doing a skydive (once I have got the all-clear from the doctors) to raise money for them.
