Story

My husband has recently been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. After completing his first cycle of chemotherapy, we are facing an uncertain future filled with hope and determination.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, often discovered too late for effective treatment. This harsh reality has ignited a passion within me to raise awareness about this terrible illness. I believe that by spreading knowledge about the importance of screening, early diagnosis, and treatment options, we can help save lives.

That’s why I am committing to a walk—a walk to honour my husband and all those affected by pancreatic cancer. Each step I take will symbolise our fight against this disease and our dedication to advocating for those who may not have a voice.

Your support can make a significant difference. By donating, you will help fund crucial awareness initiatives and research that can lead to earlier detection and better treatment strategies. Together, we can bring hope and support to families facing this daunting challenge.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
