On 19th April 2018 my wife Louise sadly passed away from Ovarian Cancer. 

When we first realised in February 2018 that she had a large mass on her left ovary and she attended the Medway Hospital, after the doctor called Surgical Assessment to arrange an examination, we were told that she could not jump the queue and we would have to follow the correct procedures. Sadly less than seven weeks later she passed away. 

Our family are trying to raise the profile of this disease which shows no real symptoms until possibly it is too late.  It is not good enough just to be told “you cannot jump the queue”. Cancer waits for nobody. Insist on immediate treatment. Sadly Louise and I did not and I live on alone with that regret. 

In her memory our daughters and myself will continue to raise funds and make more people aware of Ovarian Cancer. Please donate as much as you possibly can.
