Old Mancs is pleased and extremely proud to announce a new Charity partner for the coming season, The Christie. The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds for more than 44,000 cancer patients every year. Your support can help fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

This is the first time the club has worked with a Charity in this nature and it is something the committee is extremely keen on making a success. We view supporting local Charities as fulfilling our social responsibility in our role as a local sports team. As such each member of the committee has pledged to donate £20 to the Christie and we are now asking for donations from every registered player. There is no expectation on you, so whatever you can afford, please make the effort to donate to this fantastic cause. The donations can be made anonymously if you would prefer.

As a result of this partnership the Christie logo will be on our first team shirts and any subsequent kit sponsors are being asked to do so in support and in partnership with the Christie. We will be organising further fundraising events over the course of the season and once we have the kit design back we will be producing a joint social media release with the Christie.
