Story

Hello!
It's a big birthday this year and I want to do something worthwhile with it, especially after the year or so that we've all had. Let's do something good.

Over the next year, I'm going to be running at least two ultramarathons and least one marathon, some half marathons, and completing a few other longer runs (45km/30 mile-ish days) to cover the last 200 miles or so of the South West Coast Path that I have left to do. I'm raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The main events are Salcombe to Plymouth (which is about 35 miles) on the coast path on May 28th, then Race to the Stones on 9th July 2022 along the historic Ridgeway - a 100km non-stop run from Oxfordshire to Wiltshire.

I’m also doing: Cheltenham Half Marathon (dressed as a unicorn!), the Dartmoor Trail half marathon, Exeter marathon in November 2021, as well as other runs along the rest of the coast path and other events throughout the year (as I sign up for them).

It costs a huge amount to provide round-the-clock care, treatments, and family support for the families and children needing Great Ormond Street Hospital's help. They really do change and save lives. It's hard to think about being in that situation, and even harder to consider what it would be like if GOSH didn't exist or couldn't afford to provide its amazing services for families.

Anything you can contribute will be so well received.

Thank you, thank you, thank you
