Event: Great North Run 2023, on 10 September 2023
We provide free education to 156 pupils and employ 11 staff. We have 12 classrooms with 71 children in nursery and 85 in primary. We want to refurbish all the classrooms, enlarge the student intake and provide clean water through a borehole.

Story

Speaking to my daughter recently regarding the life of the less privileged children in Nigeria, we both agreed that there is a massive gap between them and those in a country like the Uk. Considering the fact that we have access to many social amenities such as uninterrupted electricity, good water supplies, good schools that are free and other benefits provided by the government for a high-quality standard of living.
Amongst other charities reaching out to help children from those communities, Liberty is a charity arm of the New Covenant church.
To date, we have built two primary schools, paid teachers salaries and provided many learning materials for free.
Currently, these schools are in a dilapidated state and in need of renovation and upgrade. We are also planning on expanding, to accommodate more children.
It is believed that when you educate one child, you liberate a generation.
So, in this spirit, I am joining Liberty as we raise £100k for the renovation and expansion of the schools.
I NEED YOU!! TO PLEASE KINDLY DONATE TOWARDS THIS NOBLE CAUSE
Thank you and God bless.

About the campaign

About the charity

Liberty sets entire communities free body, mind and spirit. To date we have carried out over 700 cataract surgeries, built two schools, 60 village churches, sunk wells for clean water and provided free healthcare in places where those without money to pay for these things would go without.
