Story
Those who know me will know that in 2010 I lost someone who I loved very very much to blood cancer.
Pete was an incredible guy - always positive, always optimistic, always smiling - despite being dealt a really crappy card. To say he's an inspiration is a total understatement...those who knew him I know will agree. I miss him everyday...
...and so - I decided to do something pretty insane {for me}, I've committed to run the 10 mile BUPA Great South Run in Portsmouth in October.
I've never run in my life {I have mega dodgy knees} so this is really throwing myself in at the deep end! I've got some training buddies and a training programme to work towards - so wish me luck!

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, are a charity very, very close to my heart. Every year they stop more people dying of blood cancer and their researchers are even working to stop people developing blood cancer in the first place. They improve the lives of patients with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma because they believe everyone should be able to live their life to the full.
They've been working to beat blood cancer for over 50 years and they won’t stop until they do.
As they say, every little helps...so please - if you can, dig deep and leave a donation - together we can make a difference.
