Story
In May of this year my dad passed away suddenly when a undiscovered blood clot in his leg broke off and traveled to his lungs, instantly stopping his heart (Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism). He was just 63 years old and had recently retired from a career working with handicapped adults for our local Council.
He believed in helping others and he would literally help anyone that needed it. In that same spirit, I want to help raise awareness of the symptoms and dangers that these silent killers pose in the hope that no one else dies or looses a loved one from a blood clot.
So with your support on 17th August 2014 I will be shaving off my dreadlocks, which I've had for 10 years! The money I raise will be donated to Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity.
Thanks for your support and for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
