From 5th April 2010, we (Phil, his dog, and Alex) are going to walk Offa's Dyke to raise money in aid of The Multiple Sclerosis Society (MS) - all 177 miles and 30,000 feet of it!
This will be a massive physical challenge for us - 13 days walking carrying full kit and camping every night!
Keep upto date with our preparations and progress at http://www.mycountryside.org.uk
Offa's Dyke path is a 177-mile walk that weaves in and out of the England - Wales border, from Prestatyn on the North Wales coast to Chepstow on the Severn Estuary. Offa's Dyke is Britain's largest man-made monument - built by Offa, King of Mercia from 757 to 796 A.D to try and create a boundry between his kingdom and the independant Welsh kingdoms.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us hit our first target of £1500 - you are all amazing! Thank you.
So please sponsor us now!
