Story

The 1st annual OF Memorial Cup…

Last year we lost a friend, a brother, a legend. Oli was one of the true greats, always bringing laughter and as he liked to call it “banter” to everyone around him. Myself and Nappin wanted to remember Oli through a sporting event all the lads could get involved in every year and remember the good times Oli gave us together. Due to our inability to complete a marathon in a time spectators would still be spectating, we decided a Golf tournament was more our pace, the OF Memorial Cup was born.

We are playing a Ryder Cup format, team USA v Europe, we already have over 50 people playing in the event, the contributions and support from the guys has been superb. We would welcome anyone to come down to watch on the day and witness some top draw golf, fierce rivalry amongst the lads and the occasional putter throw. It’s going to be a great day and experience we will never forget in memory of Oli.

Please help us reach our target, from me and all those who have had the privilege to meet Oli thank you.

The captains Ben Farrell & Jack Nappin will be starting the day’s proceedings at:

10.30 28th June 2014
