We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Most of you will probably be familiar with our periodic attempts at completing runs of varying distances, but this autumn we thought we'd try something a little different...

As we were both unsuccessful in the 2011 London Marathon ballot (fingers crossed for 2012!), we decided to pick a month and try to complete a series of runs that would total the magic marathon distance of 26.2 miles.

So during October we will participating in the following;

02/10/11 - Finsbury Park 10k (6 miles)

09/10/11 - Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

22/10/11 - Richmond Park Shock Absorber 10k (6 miles)

30/10/11 - BUPA Great South Run (10 miles)

And to make things a bit more interesting, we'll also be doing the Royal Parks Half and Great South Run wearing some quite fetching neon yellow accessories...

If we make it to the end of the month in one piece then it'll be a little bit of a miracle, but as always it's for a great cause. We've chosen to support The Stroke Association again as we both feel it's a very worthy cause. Therefore if you can spare anything at all to help us reach our fundraising target, not only will it help us keep going as October goes on, but it will be invaluable to the The Stroke Association and their work.

Thank you!

Alice & Tessa xx
