Event: Festive Friday for GOSH, on 18 December 2020
We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Thursday 17th December (changed due to inset day on the 18th December) we shall be taking part in Festive Friday to support GOSH. We are asking for a small contribution from our families and in return our young people are able to wear clothes of their choice on this day.

You will be raising money to help fund the vital resources Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) needs to help get more seriously ill children home to their families.

Every child should have the chance to be at home with their families at Christmas. That’s why the dedicated teams at GOSH work around the clock to find the cures and treatments to ensure seriously ill children have the best chance of getting home to their families. And, for those children whose treatment needs to continue over the festive season, they try to make the hospital feel like a home from home.

In these extraordinary times the hospital and the children it cares for need your support more than ever. As GOSH continues to feel the impact of the pandemic over the coming months its needs will continue to change and increase.

Never has there been a greater chance for OAB to make an incredible difference. The NHS covers the day-to-day running costs of the hospital but your support is needed to help GOSH go above and beyond, providing extraordinary care and expertise to children with the rarest and most complex conditions, who come to GOSH from across the UK.
