Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

During a networking meeting, Sarah discovered the work of Nordoff Robbins and that they needed vital funds to carry on their wonderful work. At Women who Count we all love a challenge and "Up at the O2" will provide just that.

We will be climbing as many times as we can as a tag team during a 2 hour slot. The record so far is 17 times. This will be a physically challenging and demanding event but hopefully will be a lot of fun too.

At Nordoff Robbins, we celebrate the connection and joy music can bring to those with life-limiting illnesses, physical disabilities or emotional challenges. As the UK’s leading independent music therapy charity, we work across the UK offering vital support through our dedicated open access centres and alongside over 150 partner organisations.

Everyday our therapists work to change people's lives through music.

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
