Dwi a Owain yn Swyddogion Ysgolion yr Heddlu ac rydym wedi teimlo'n gwbl ddiymadferth yn gwylio'r newyddion dros y mis diwethaf ac yn ceisio gwneud gwahaniaeth.

Rhyngom, rydym yn cefnogi 5 ysgol uwchradd yn ardal Gogledd Gwynedd yng Ngogledd Cymru a'n her yw ceisio rhedeg o un i'r lleill, gan ymweld â'r 5 o fewn diwrnod ysgol, cyfanswm pellter o tua 18 milltir. Nid yw'r naill na'r llall ohonom yn redwyr pellter hir o unrhyw fath, felly mae hon yn her enfawr i ni.

Bydd yr her yn dechrau am 9yb yn Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon, a byddwn yn rhedeg i Ysgol Brynrefail, Llanrug, draw i Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen, Bethesda, trwy Deiniolen a Mynydd Llandygai, cyn mynd tuag at Fangor, pasio Ysgol Tryfan a gorffen yn Ysgol Friars, gobeithio cyn 3.15yh.

Rydym wedi penderfynnu cefnogi UNICEF gan bod pob rhodd yn mynd yn uniongyrchol tuag at helpu plant sydd wedi cael eu heffeithio gan y gwrthdaro parhaus.

Myself and Owain are School Police Officers and have both felt completely helpless watching the news over the past month and are trying to make a difference. 

Between us, we cover 5 secondary schools in the Gwynedd North area of North Wales and our challenge is to attempt to run from one to the others, visiting all 5 within a school day, a total distance of approximately 18 miles. Neither of us are long distance runners by any stretch of the imagination, therefore this is a huge challenge for us.

The challenge will start at 9am at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon, and we will run to Ysgol Brynrefail, Llanrug, over to Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen, Bethesda, through Deiniolen and Mynydd Llandygai, before heading towards Bangor, passing Ysgol Tryfan and finishing at Ysgol Friars, hopefully before 3.15pm.

We have decided to support UNICEF as every donation goes directly towards helping children who have been uprooted and affected by the ongoing conflict.
