Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Two friends and avid bikers are riding from John O' Groats to Lands Ends within the day. To raise funds for the amazing North West Blood Bikers. They run solely using Volunteers to transport life saving bloods, platelets and donor milk to hospitals within the North West. As both bikers work for the NHS at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary they decided this would be a great charity to sponsor. The challenge will be fully completed in three days. On day one they will ride from Lancaster to John O' Groats. The second day will be the day they ride the whole way down the country ending in Lands End. On the third day they will return to Lancaster from the South. The entire three days will consist a journey in excess of 1,600 miles this will be a tiring and physically draining few days but completely worth it to support such an important charity. Only one Tourer is completing the trip so the one on sports a bike needs to be prepared for a sore bum and aching back!

The ride will be completed from the 6th May-8th May 2017 and 100% of donations go straight to the charity, the lads will incur all petrol and hotel costs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
