As many of you may remember Ian and I have ridden MACRIDE for the last three years to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The ride is a 100 km, starting in Stratford upon Avon and taking in some tough North Cotswold Hills. I realise it is unusual to ask for sponsorship after the event, but we only decide to ride this year’s event on Thursday (even lesstime to prepare).

As usual we tried to make it even more of the challange (as if 63 miles of hills wasn’t difficult enough). So I rode my single speed bike (no gears!) and Ian rode to the event from home – leaving at 6 am in the darkness (!!!).

So if your Sunday was less challanging then maybe you would like to give just a couple of pounds to show us that our efforts weren’t wasted. Please donate. Thank you very much
