Hello there!

I'm Sara Lina and this October 2017 I will embarking on a 10-week expedition under Raleigh International with other volunteer from around the world to help build strong community resilience; providing access safe water and sanitation as well as protecting vulnerable environments in that area. 

The expedition focuses on three phases:

• Environment project: I will be working towards protecting and conserving the environment by working alongside with scientist in protected areas to assist in the global conservation effort.
  
  
• Community project: I will be working on projects to improve the quality of life of the communities such as constructing bridges,building education facilities and water system.
  
  
• Adventure project: I will be trekking for 17 days across the rain forest and to help in the development of trekking trails and learn about the wildlife in Borneo,Sabah.
  

Before I leave, I'm trying to raise RM 3,000(approximately $700) to support Raleigh's work over 10 weeks of expedition. Don't worry as all fund raised will be re-allocated to Raleigh International and I will cover my own return flight, vaccination and equipment needed for the expedition.
