Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The tramper mobility scooters at Tarn Hows enable many visitors who might otherwise miss the chance to see beautiful Tarn Hows to make their own way around the tarn and enjoy it along with their family and friends in a very special way.

The trampers help us meet part of our commitment to make more of our beautiful places across the north accessible to those who are less physically able. The tramper was originally made possible with generous funding from Go Lakes and Alan and Pat Parfett.

They are free to use but any donations we can get towards their upkeep would help us ensure the service continues and hopefully one day soon we might be able to buy another tramper to add to the fleet.

If you are interested in supporting this unique work please help by donating through this page. Every penny we raise we commit directly to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the trampers at Tarn Hows.

Thank you for your support!
