NSPCC South East is raising money for NSPCC

NSPCC South East Surrey Branch is Still Here for Children · 25 February 2021

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

We are raising money for the NSPCC and Childline because many children have been the hidden victims of the Coronavirus Pandemic and the effects are far from over. We need your help so we can Still be here for children. Because no child should be left to cope alone.

Between April and December 2020, Childline delivered 54,926 counselling sessions to children and young people. Over the past 10 months Childline trained counselors have heard first hand about the devastating impact the Coronavirus has had on young peoples mental health. Children who contacted frequently spoke about loneliness, low mood and self-esteem depression and anxiety.

Home is not a safe place for every child, but every pound we raise will help the NSPCC Still be there for every child.

£4 could answer a Child's call to Childline

£27 could pay for a Childline Supervisor for one hour, supporting our Childline volunteers

£67 could pay for a headset for our Childline and helpline staff to work remotely.

So many fundraising events have had to be cancelled, so we would be extremely grateful of a donation to keep these services running to enable the NSPCC and Childline be there for every child.

Please take a moment to watch the video below on how your donation could help us be there for children.
