Story

Fleet News, at this year's FN50 Dinner, is Fundraising for the NSPCC so we can be Here For Children.

For many children, the uncertainty and worry from the pandemic has taken a toll on their mental  health, while others have felt trapped in unsafe homes. Childline have been receiving calls from children concerned about anxiety, low mood, depression, loneliness and low self-esteem. Now, we’re asking you to help us support them and together make 2021 a better year for children.

“Contacting Childline was a chance for me to just talk through things in a way I hadn’t done before. It was a relief to get it out. They actually wanted to listen, and I felt that.”

Every little helps, however small, and your generosity will be appreciated. It costs:

£4 to fund a call to Childline

£12 to train a volunteer

£27 to pay for Childline Supervisor – support our volunteer counsellors

£62 to pay for headset equipment allowing Counsellors to work remotely during
these challenging times.

Thank you for supporting NSPCC and Childline, you really will be making a difference to
children across the UK.
