The Ride+Stride event has been organised by Nottinghamshire Historic Churches Trust (NHCT) annually since 1991. Participants attempt to visit as many churches as possible between 10 am and 6 pm on 14th September by riding (on a bicycle/horse) or striding (walking/running) between them. All sponsorship money raised is shared equally between NHCT (towards the provision of grants for maintaining historic churches in the county) and the participant’s own church.

I will be taking part this year and hope to cycle to at least twenty churches (including all in our own parish of Wiverton in the Vale), raising sponsorship money for NHCT and St John the Divine, Colston Bassett. I would greatly value your support in this venture.
